OceanStor Pacific 9950 Scale-out Storage OceanStor Pacific 9950 storage system takes full advantage of all Non-Volatile Memory express (NVMe) Solid State Drives (SSDs) for its primary storage, with each 5U chassis housing a maximum of eight storage nodes. A full Peripheral Component Interconnect express (PCIe) 4.0 design enables each chassis to provide a raw capacity range of 128–614.4 TB, bandwidth of up to 160 GB/s, and 6.4 million Input/Output Operations Per Second (IOPS). Looking closer at the drives themselves, half-palm high-density NVMe SSDs are used to contain 33% more all-flash media per unit space.
